Michael Weymouth’s book shows how to use photography to enhance painting skills
Weymouth’s recently released “How Photography Can Make You a Better Painter” encourages artists to use their digital cameras as a visual aid to improve their painting skills, dispelling the notion that artists shouldn’t paint from photos.

There are plenty articles on the internet about how digital photography in many ways is ahead of film in terms of quality, details and the like. One thing I do not understand is why you can still tell a difference if a photographs was taken using a digital camera or on film. Why moves are still shot on 35mm if digital technology is so great? I don’t know if it’s the way digital reacts to light, whereas film is more warmer and closer to the way a human eye percepts the light.

I am taking digital photography(the class) and all we do is read the whole period, I want to know the main things to know to pass the class instead of all the other crap!
